Your other arm is in a figure 4 configuration around the opponent’s head and can quickly squeeze them out of consciousness without causing permanent damage.

5. Armbar

The armbar is a classic attacking technique in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. Hyperextend your opponent’s arm into an uncomfortable stretch, pushing them to tap out. To avoid your attacker escaping an elbow during the move, perform it slowly and methodically and grip them tightly.

6. Kimura

Kimura is a joint lock position, one of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu’s most versatile techniques. It is done by attacking your opponent’s shoulder joint and driving their wrist and arm behind their back. By applying tight(but not rigid) and consistent pressure, you can push them to submission.
